The 2016 Infoway Partnership Conference, A Conversation About Digital Health, is an annual event designed to create a forum for knowledge exchange, debate and discussion.
The Leadership sessions on day one will set the foundation for more in-depth conversations on clinical interoperability, medication management and consumer health on day two.
The Infoway Partnership Conference is an opportunity to connect with Canadas digital health leaders and international experts to share learning and address challenges and opportunities for transforming health care delivery in Canada.
Digital health is continuing to improve conversations between clinicians, and between clinicians and their patients. The result is more appropriate and more timely care, greater efficiencies for clinicians, and cost savings that are contributing to a more sustainable health system for Canada.
The 2016 Infoway Partnership Conference will:
• Showcase leading practices and their success
• Address the challenges facing policy-makers and health leaders in transforming health service delivery
• Discuss types of innovation and new technologies that can help transform health systems
The Conference will look at how digital health solutions are:
• Providing better and safer medication practices
• Empowering patients
• Enabling more seamless coordination of care to support better informed care through clinical interoperability
This year’s Conference takes place during Digital Health Week. The third annual Digital Health Week (November 14-20, 2016) is organized by Infoway under the national consumer education and engagement umbrella brand, Better Health Together. Over 30 Supporting Organizations representing national consumer health, clinical and digital health industry associations, plus provincial/territorial governments, are working together to raise public awareness of digital health during the week, with growing interest from new national and provincial organizations to take part.
